R. Aron Benjamin
Aron brings a sense of patience and calm to the preparation involved in each case, but acts with conviction when pursuing his clients’ interests. As a former Assistant State’s Attorney, he relies on his extensive courtroom experience when developing case strategy and advising clients. Aron focuses his practice on resolving personal injury matters. In addition, he handles criminal law matters, including matters of assault, theft, drug possession and traffic offenses such as driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI).
Prior to joining Stein Sperling, Aron worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Carroll County, Maryland, for a number of years where he served as an advocacy and investigation center prosecutor. He proudly advocated on behalf of some of the most vulnerable children in the County. In addition, Aron coordinated the Carroll County Drug Treatment Court. He also worked previously as a political consultant and in public affairs with organizations including the Society for Human Resource Management and the Public Affairs Council.
Outside of the office Aron enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. When not at work or with his family, he can be found on the ice playing hockey or at the pool.
