    David Podolsky promptly and thoroughly assists clients achieve their goals. When advising his clients, which include individuals, businesses and local governments, he considers the larger context of each issue in addition to its technical aspects. David’s goal is to anticipate and answer his clients’ questions before they ask them. He concentrates his practice in municipal law, condominium and homeowners’ associations, zoning and real estate, and estate planning and administration.

    David has served as Outside Counsel and as a Hearing Examiner for Montgomery County, Maryland, as well as Special Counsel for the City of Gaithersburg and Assistant City Attorney for Rockville. A past President of the Maryland Municipal Attorneys Association, he has represented many municipalities including the City of Rockville, Town of Chevy Chase and the Town of Garrett Park. David regularly speaks at the Maryland Municipal League Convention.

    Prior to joining Stein Sperling, David conducted a general law practice with a small firm before becoming a sole practitioner for 22 years.

    Outside of the office, some of David’s interests include investments and astrophysics. In 2004, he competed in the Marine Corps Marathon.
