Caroline E. Ford
As estate planning is often an emotional process, Caroline Ford maintains a patient and thoughtful approach to assisting clients through making and implementing difficult decisions. She regularly assists clients with all aspects of estate and trust planning, including wealth preservation, succession planning, charitable gift planning and estate and trust administration.
Prior to joining Stein Sperling, Caroline held clerkships for the American Cancer Society in Washington, D.C., as well as the Rural School and Community Trust and the Foster Care Review Board in Columbia, South Carolina. She also worked as a law clerk with Pro Bono Legal Services in Charleston, South Carolina. While in law school, Caroline earned the Albert C. Todd III Estate Planning Award, which is presented to students who most exemplify integrity, industry, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Outside of the office, Caroline enjoys reading historical fiction and nonfiction. She also enjoys baking and doing volunteer work in her local community.
