Shawn Eskow works to provide clients with as many options as possible when assisting them with business and tax issues. As an attorney and Certified Public Accountant and Certified Valuation Analyst, he brings integrated knowledge and creative problem solving to corporate and transactional matters. Shawn regularly helps clients form and organize various business entities, provide general corporate counseling and advice, prepare necessary business documents, including articles of organization, operating agreements, consulting agreements, lease amendments and demand letters.

While in law school, Shawn was a judicial intern at the U.S. District Court in Baltimore, Maryland. He also served as a legal extern at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel. In addition, Shawn assisted in the assembly of the 2010 Maryland Tax Practitioner Handbook. Prior to law school, Shawn worked at one of the “Big Four” accounting firms as a Senior Accountant in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services department.  There, he designed and performed audit procedures, prepared financial statements for financial institutions specializing in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).

As a student, Shawn volunteered at the University of Michigan’s Dance Marathon and for Relay for Life. He now frequently volunteers at Miriam’s Kitchen, a nonprofit addressing the causes and consequences of homelessness through individualized services in Washington, D.C.

Away from the office, Shawn enjoys spending time with friends and family.  He is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys playing just about any sport, including basketball, football, baseball, softball, golf, tennis and biking.
