Ronald M. Bolt
Ron Bolt’s approach to practicing law involves personal attention to and prompt communication with his clients. By listening to their concerns, he is able to proactively address clients’ needs. Ron practices in the areas of municipal law, community association’s law, business law, and real estate law. In addition to serving as counsel for local governments and businesses, he represents homeowners’ associations, condominiums, and other planned communities. Ron represents business clients on a full range of issues from entity formation to negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases and other contracts.
Ron is a member of the Maryland Municipal Attorneys’ Association and is a frequent speaker on the topic of in-fill development and “mansionization.” He is a member of the Washington Metropolitan Chapter of the Community Associations Institute and serves on its editorial committee and as chair of its Maryland legislative committee. He is a frequent contributor to Quorum, a magazine for community association property managers and volunteers. Since 2011, Ron has served on the Board of Directors of the Arc of Frederick County, a non-profit organization providing support to people with developmental disabilities and their families.
Prior to joining Stein Sperling, he served as law clerk in the Circuit Court for Dorchester County, Maryland. During law school, he clerked at the Office of the Maryland Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division.
In his spare time, Ron enjoys international travel, as well as watching and playing soccer.
