Jeff Schwaber featured in ABA Journal's "Lawyers Giving Back" column

In its August issue, the American Bar Association's monthly magazine, ABA Journal, featured Jeff Schwaber as part of its "Lawyers Giving Back" column. Each month, this column features photos and stories of attorneys helping their communities. View this month's column online.
Mr. Schwaber was highlighted for his recent participation in the Nautica South Beach (FL) Triathlon, for which he raised over $54,000 for the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless (WLCH). Mr. Schwaber has been very involved with WLCH, which provides pro bono legal services to clients who are homeless, for nearly 25 years. He has served as Chair of the organization's Fundraising Committee for over 20 years, is a past President of WLCH and currently serves on its Executive Committee.
To continue his support of the Clinic, Mr. Schwaber celebrated his 50th birthday by raising funds on its behalf in advance of the triathlon. He called his "50 for 50," as his goal was to raise $50,000 on behalf of the Clinic for his 50th birthday. With the help of friends, family and colleagues he as able to exceed that goal.
WLCH acknowledged Mr. Schwaber's efforts in its recent newsletter, saying he "is 'going the extra mile' to make sure that we can be present to our clients during these challenging times."
