David De Jong and Eric Rollinger will be presenting “The Troubled Taxpayer”  for the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA) on Tuesday, July 31. The program will focus on how to deal with the Internal Revenue Service on examination, collection and general administrative matters. Topics to be covered include criminal investigations, innocent spouse claims, installment plans and Offers in Compromise. The approach to the program will be to discuss both the law and the practicalities of each situation affecting a taxpayer.
