Ron Bolt practices in the areas of municipal law, community associations law, and land use and zoning. Additionally, Mr. Bolt represents business clients on a full range of issues from entity formation to negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, and other contracts. Mr. Bolt strives to counsel his clients utilizing cost-effective approaches and proactive litigation avoidance. Mr. Bolt is a member of the Maryland Municipal Attorneys’ Association and is a frequent speaker on the topic of in-fill development and “mansionization.” As a member of the Community Associations Institute, he represents homeowners’ associations, condominiums, and other planned communities. Mr. Bolt’s affiliations further include the Montgomery County and Frederick County Bar Associations. The Middletown, Maryland native proudly serves on the Advisory Board of the Arc of Frederick County, a non-profit organization providing support to people with developmental disabilities and their families. Mr. Bolt received a B.A. degree from the University of Maryland and a J.D. degree from the Widener University School of Law where he was a member of the Widener Law Symposium Journal. During law school he served as law clerk to the Office of the Maryland Attorney General. After graduating, he served as law clerk to the Circuit Court for Dorchester County, Maryland.
