Serving our community for 30 years has afforded us a strong relationship with local charities. Our attorneys and staff participate in community festivals, fundraising for local hospitals and civic and service organizations as well as other forms of giving. We care about the quality of life in our community and do our part to ensure the success of our community and its relations.

Our relationship with Children's National Medical Center has been successful and prosperous. With the support of our clients and friends, we helped to raise over $180,000 for the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation of Children's Hospital. Members of the firm served on the hospital's Partner's Council and were committee members for many of the hospital's annual charity events.

The firm supports the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless, a network of attorneys who volunteer to provide pro bono legal services to homeless men, women and children in the greater Washington, DC area. In addition to financial support for this worthy and vital cause, Jeffrey M. Schwaber, one of the firm's principals, served as President of the organization and currently sits on its Board of Directors. Every year since 1987, the legal clinic holds a benefit called Home Court, started by a group of Georgetown Law students. Over the past 20 years, Home Court has raised over $3 million to support the clinic.

In addition, we are actively involved in the Maryland State Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, Frederick County Bar Association, Montgomery County and Rockville Chambers of Commerce, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Society for Human Resources Management.
